$50K Lotto Win Helps Bel Air Woman Pay Off Debt

BEL AIR, MD — A Harford County woman has played lottery games for the past decade, but finally won a big prize using the last $30 left in her monthly lottery ticket budget.

The Bel Air woman told Maryland Lottery officials that she enjoys scratch-off tickets and playing Multi-Match. Her goal has always been to secure her financial future with a lottery windfall, and although her $50,000 win won't be enough to secure her retirement, she said she's thrilled with her win.

She popped into a Wawa and bought a Multi-Match ticket first then a 200X the Cash scratch-off ticket. She scratched her tickets in her car and once she realized she won, she rushed home to show her partner. The Harford County woman plans to pay off debt and then treat herself to a vacation, Maryland Lottery officials said.
