60 MPH Winds, Hail Possible In MD Thunderstorm Warning (EXPIRED)

BALTIMORE, MD — The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for several areas in central Maryland. The warning was in effect until 3:45 p.m. Sunday.

The warning calls for winds up to 60 mph and penny-sized hail.

There is also a flood warning for Baltimore City and southern Baltimore County until 6:45 p.m.

Drivers who come across water-covered roads should turn around; don't drown.
