7-Eleven Robbed at Gunpoint in Bel Air: Police

The Bel Air Police Department says there is a cash reward for information about the suspect.

After the 7-Eleven on Baltimore Pike was robbed at gunpoint this week, the Bel Air Police Department is asking for help identifying the suspect.

A masked man armed with a handgun went into the store in the 200 block of Baltimore Pike at approximately 11:50 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 19, police reported.

He forced an employee to open the register, then took cash and left on foot, according to the report.

Police said nobody was injured in the robbery.

The suspect was described as a black man between 18 and 35 years old who was 5’8” tall and of medium build. Police said he was wearing a mask, blue jeans and a blue hooded sweatshirt at the time of the robbery.

There is a cash reward of up to to $2,000 for tips. To qualify for the reward, submit information to Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP; text “MCS” plus the message to “CRIMES” (274637); or submit tips online.
