7 Places to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Bel Air

Green beer, lamb burgers, corned beef and plenty of Irish car bombs are on tap this weekend.

  • Birrotecca—1226 Baltimore Pike, Bel Air—St. Patrick’s Day menu and Evolution craft beer pairing are featured on Tuesday in what is billed as a “celebration for the grown and sexy.” Reservations are required.
  • Bushmill Tavern—4017 Philadelphia Road, Abingdon—There’s a Fireball promotion with Paddy’s Devil Apple from 9–11 p.m. Friday. Tuesday’s St. Patrick’s Day menu featuring “lamb burgers with Guiness cheddar” and other Irish-inspired deliciousness.
  • Hickory Lodge—2119 Conowingo Road, Bel Air—Jeff Stike will play live from 5–9 p.m. Friday; on Saturday, get ready for country ladies night and $3 Guiness, $5 Jameson and $5 car bombs. Corned beef is on the menu all weekend.
  • Looney’s Pub—312 S. Main Street, Bel Air—Saturday will feature a tent with photo booth, plus bands from noon to 9 p.m.; see list on flyer. Tuesday includes a complimentary breakfast buffet from 8 to 10 a.m.; live music from noon to 9 p.m.; Irish drink specials; and pit beef all day.
  • Main Street Oyster House119 S. Main Street, Bel Air—Guinness pint night starts at 7 p.m. Friday. The oyster house is giving away etched Guinness pint glasses for the first 72 people to order Guinness. Drink specials all weekend include $3 Killians Irish Red draft; $3 Murphy Stout draft; $4 Baby Guinness and Irish Lemon Drops; $5 Guinness, Smithwick and Harp; $5 car bombs and Van Goh expresso bombs; and $5 Irish whiskey (Jameson, Bushmill and Irish Mist).
  • Main Street Tower—29 S. Main Street, Bel Air—Four days of events are in store, with $5.17 Irish car bombs and Irish coffees daily. Get $2.17 green beer while supplies last. See the flyer for musical lineup and more drink specials. A heated party tent will open on Tuesday, with drink specials starting at $1.17 Killians at 8 a.m.
  • Sean Bolan’s12 S. Main Street, Bel Air—Happy hour is scheduled from noon to 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
