74-Year-Old Killed In Car Crash On Whiteford Road: Maryland State Police
A 74-year-old Bel Air man was killed Thursday morning in a two-vehicle crash along Whiteford Road, according to the Maryland State Police.
HARFORD COUNTY, MD — A 74-year-old Bel Air resident was killed Thursday morning in a crash that occurred shortly before 11 a.m. at the intersection of Prospect Road and Whiteford Road.
According to a preliminary investigation, a Kia Sorrento traveling west on Prospect Road crashed into a Toyota Tacoma traveling north on Whiteford Road. The driver of the Tacoma, identified as Michael Elliot, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Maryland State Police.
The driver of the Sorrento has been identified as Sanelisiwe Masondo, 30, of Belcamp. She was taken by ambulance to University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center for treatment, the Maryland State Police reported.
