9 Suspects Charged In Fourth Of July 2023 Shooting: Harford County Sheriff's Office

Nine Harford County residents have been charged in connection to a a Fourth of July 2023 shooting in which several people were injured.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Nine suspects have been charged in connection to a Fourth of July 2023 shooting that happened in the 600 block of Harr Park Court in Edgewood.

On July 4, 2023, around 4:12 p.m., Harford County sheriff's deputies were called to the 600 block of Edgewood Road for a report of a shooting. They found Rayvon Perry, 21, of Aberdeen near Royal Farms with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a trauma center. Three other victims, Cameron Ward, 21, of Edgewood, and two teenage boys, both age 17, were found at area hospitals seeking medical treatment for gunshot wounds. The initial investigation indicated the shooting happened in the 600 block of Harr Park Court where a group of teens and young adults were fighting and gunfire was exchanged, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office.

Harford County sheriff's office detectives carried out nine search and seizure warrants, and made seven arrests, on May 23. Two other suspects were served with additional charges while in jail for unrelated charges. During the property searches, four 9mm handguns were found along with illegal drugs and money.
