911 Service Restored After Outage In Harford County: Police

Police said the Harford County Emergency Operations Center briefly lost 911 service.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD – Phone service has been restored at the Harford County Emergency Operations Center, according to officials, who said the 911 line underwent a brief outage Friday.

Before 5 p.m., the Aberdeen Police Department reported that phone lines at the center, including the 911 and business phone, were not operating. In the interim, citizens were directed to reach out to their local police or fire stations or the Harford County nonemergency fire and ambulance dispatch line at 410-638-3400.

By 5:30 p.m., police said the Harford County 911 line was back in service.
