AAA Mid-Atlantic Cuts The Ribbon To Celebrate Success In Abingdon

To celebrate the success of the opening of the Abingdon AAA Car Care Insurance and Travel Center, AAA Mid-Atlantic leadership and associates officially cut the ribbon for the location at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 23.

With the opening of the Abingdon location, AAA Car Care Insurance and Travel Centers now total over 40 in AAA Mid-Atlantic’s service area, which includes Maryland, Washington, D.C.,
Delaware, and parts of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.

The nearly 9,000 square foot facility of new construction features eight automotive bays and employs 20 AAA Mid-Atlantic associates. Built on vacant land at an approximate cost of $2.2
million, the new store is located near the Boulevard Shopping Center. This new facility replaces AAA Mid-Atlantic’s previous retail store in Bel Air approximately five miles away that closed on Friday, November 2.

The Abingdon AAA Car Care Insurance and Travel Center is located at 3309 Emmorton Road (near Boulevard Shopping Center), Abingdon, MD 21009. The store’s hours are Monday – Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The store's number is (410) 838-5121.
