Abingdon Crash Claims One Person's Life: Harford County Fire & EMS
I-95 was shut down completely Thursday night past exit 77 in Abingdon for a rescue helicopter to land at the scene of a deadly crash.
HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Both northbound and southbound lanes of I-95 were shut down Thursday night for a rescue helicopter to land after a crash happened past exit 77 in Abingdon.
According to the Harford County Fire and EMS Department, one person was pronounced dead on the scene. Two other people were air-lifted to R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center.
Three EMS units, the Harford County Department of Emergency Services, AFC and Aberdeen Fire Department and two Maryland State Police aviation command helicopters were involved.
