According to his guilty plea between 2002 through 2006, 37-year-old Lewis Ismael Blandon sexually abused a minor victim who was 12 years old at the time the abuse began. Blandon contacted the child to arrange visits via cell phone and through the chat feature on video games.

He also used several different social media accounts to exploit his victims from 2020 to 2021. Using a variety of aliases and handles on these platforms, Blandon communicated with several underage boys, encouraging them to produce sexually explicit images. Blandon admitted that he also sent images of his own genitalia to the young boys to prompt them to reciprocate. Blandon also distributed commercially available child pornography on a messaging application to another user.

Blandon has been sentenced to 19 years in federal prison, followed by a lifetime of supervised release, for sexual exploitation of a child to produce a visual depiction of the sexual conduct. He also was ordered to register as a sex offender after he's released from prison.
