Aerosol Cans Near Wood Stove In Forest Hill Workshop Ignite Fire: Official
Aerosol cans near a wood stove in a workshop at a Forest Hill home sparked a fire Wednesday afternoon, according to the state fire marshal.

FOREST HILL, MD — During the noon hour Wednesday, a fire broke out in the workshop near the home at 2955 Grier Nursery Road in Forest Hill.
Firefighters arrived at the property around 12:43 p.m. to find a fire caused by a wood stove that had ignited combustible materials. According to the Office of the State Fire Marshal, a family member was walking toward the 100x50-foot building when he heard an explosion and saw smoke coming from inside the shop.
Nearly 30 firefighters from the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company put out the fire within five minutes. The fire was contained to the corner of the garage that doubled as a workshop where the wood stove was located. Numerous aerosol cans were nearby and exploded throughout the garage, the state fire marshal reported.

Damages have been estimated at $25,000.
