After Foot Chase, Edgewood Robbery Suspect in Custody: Sheriff
The man is suspected in three robberies in Edgewood this past week.

EDGEWOOD, MD — An officer patrolling an area where robberies recently occurred spotted the suspect and arrested him after a chase and barricade Tuesday, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office.
The deputy saw Brandon Ridge Anderson-Ballard, 27, in the 500 block of Trimble Road while on patrol before 10:30 a.m., and noticing he matched the description of the suspect, tried to make contact with him, the sheriff's office reported.
Anderson-Ballard, whose address is listed in the 2100 block of Morgan Street, ran to a relative's house on Morgan Street in Harford Commons and could not come out, according to authorities.

Officers secured the perimeter and closed a section of Edgewood Road while negotiators tried to get him to leave the residence.
Before 2 p.m., Anderson-Ballard surrendered and was arrested.

Authorities said he was armed when he robbed the following locations:
- Royal Farms store on Edgewood Road on Sept. 28
- Armed robbery, Wings and Pies on Edgewood Road, Oct. 3
- Little Caesars on Hanson Road, Oct. 3
