Aggressive Fox Attacks Dog In Barrington Neighborhood: Health Official

Health officials have reported an aggressive fox in the Barrington neighborhood. One resident said the fox attacked their dog.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — An aggressive fox has been reported by residents in Harford County. In one incident, the fox attacked a person's dog.

The Harford County Health Department has received multiple calls about the aggressive fox roaming the Barrington neighborhood near Patterson Mill Middle/High School, reported WBAL. Health officials could not confirm whether or not the fox has rabies.

  • Always keep pets leashed when out for walks
  • Pets should be kept up to date on rabies vaccinations
  • Cover trash cans and don't leave pet food outside
  • Avoid feeding, petting or interacting with wildlife in your neighborhood
