Alice Anne Park In Bel Air To Be Revamped

The public can weigh in on the future of Alice Anne Park during a meeting Monday night at the site itself.

BEL AIR, MD — The Bel Air Appearance & Beautification Committee is asking for public input on plans to improve Alice Anne Park.

The park, located on Hays at Alice Anne Street in Bel Air, is about 0.5 acre. Amenities include a playground, picnic tables and basketball hoop.

All are welcome to weigh in on ways to improve the appearance, accessibility and functionality of Alice Anne Park.

The park meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. at Alice Anne Park, 148 Alice Anne Street, in Bel Air. Those who choose to attend should bring a face covering and stay 6 feet apart, in accordance with public health protocols.

If it rains, the meeting will be moved to Town Hall at 39 North Hickory Avenue.

Discussions about updating the park have been ongoing for the last couple of years. A meeting about Alice Anne Park slated for last spring was canceled due to the coronavirus.
