Amber Lea Jones​, 17, of Forest Hill

On Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2016, Amber Lea Jones of Forest Hill, passed away suddenly at the age of 17. Amber loved animals and had a passion for horses and riding. It was with her cherished horse Patriot that she won the title of Champion Horseback Rider in 2014.

Amber was the beloved daughter of Nancy Jones and Mark Jones; loving granddaughter of Frank and Kathy Melcavage and June Jones and Terry Mink, and the late Herbert McKee Jones; and caring sister of Tory Jones. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Private services were held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Amber’s name to: Harford Horse Shows Association.
