HARFORD COUNTY, MD — A Maryland State trooper was flown to a trauma center Wednesday afternoon after the trooper was involved in a crash in a construction zone.
According to the Joppa Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company, rescuers were called to a construction zone on Interstate 95 south of MD-24 for a report of a car crash. A Maryland State Police vehicle was involved in the crash that happened near mile marker 76 on southbound I-95, according to the fire company.
The injured state trooper was flown by Maryland State Police Aviation Command to R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center at the University of Maryland in Baltimore for treatment.
