ABERDEEN, MD — Tuesday morning's traffic jam on I-95 looked a bit different that usual.
Aberdeen Police Officer Buettner was alerted to a family of geese traveling on the busy multi-lane highway near mile marker 77.5.
Buettner and several other good Samaritans hopped out of their vehicles and safely herded the geese off the highway.
Thanks to their quick thinking and teamwork, the family was safely guided away from danger. A great example of our community looking out for all who share the road, even the ones with wings," the Aberdeen Police Department stated.
Watch the video below as the geese and goslings scamper around and finally reach safer ground thanks to the officer and others.
