• Earthquake Reported In Harford County (patch.com) — Residents in and around Bel Air may have felt a minor jolt Monday morning when a 2.4 magnitude earthquake was recorded about five miles northeast of town. U.S. Geological Survey data place the shallow quake near Palmer State Park, underscoring that even Harford County occasionally experiences small seismic activity.    

• Sheriff's Deputy ID'd In Deadly Multi-Vehicle Crash (patch.com) — Bel Air–area drivers are learning more about the June 9 multi-vehicle crash in nearby Belcamp, as officials identify the Harford County sheriff’s deputy involved and continue investigating the fatal police-involved collision. Investigators say a fleeing driver on Route 40 sparked a five-vehicle wreck that killed the suspect and seriously injured two others, with body-camera and dashcam footage expected to be released in coming weeks.
