Woman Hit By Amtrak Train Traveling 115 MPH

ABERDEEN, MD — An Amtrak train traveling through Aberdeen at 115 mph hit a 57-year-old woman near the train station in town Saturday night.

According to The Baltimore Sun, the woman was alive and conscious after the crash. The station is located at 18 E. Bel Air Avenue.

The Amtrak Police Department is investigating the incident, which happened around 6:30 p.m. No other details were available.
