BEL AIR, MD — A longstanding restaurant announced on Facebook Monday around 5 p.m. that it was closing immediately.
Steelefish Grille has been a fixture on Boulton Street in Bel Air for almost 1.5 decades.
"It is with a heavy heart that we need to announce the immediate closure of SteeleFish Grille. We would like to thank this wonderful community for all of your support over these past 14 years. It has been our to pleasure serve you," the restaurant's Facebook post stated.
Earlier on Monday, the family-owned restaurant posted on Facebook that it would be closed for the day. It's usually open seven days a week.
Menu items included crabby fries, sunset shrimp, Maryland style crab dip, rockfish bites, cream of crab soup, the Steelefish salad with salmon, Maryland crab cakes, stuffed shrimp, blackened Atlantic grouper, glazed salmon, soft crab sandwich, shrimp salad wrap ,black and bleu burger, ahi tuna poke bowl and blackened tuna tacos.
The owners of Steelefish Grille closed one of their other restaurants, Sunset Cove, in 2025. Their other restaurant, Hickory Lodge, remains open, according to reports.
