Harford Community College held a Completion Ceremony for spring and summer graduates of the 2026 Medical Assisting Program on August 14 in Edgewood Hall on the College campus. Twelve students completed 160 hours of training in physicians' offices across Harford County after completing coursework for their Medical Assisting Certification and/or Associate of Applied Science degrees.
Dean of Nursing and Allied Health Professions Ashley Meisel, DNP, RN, welcomed the graduates and their guests to the event. Brittany Arkins, MA, CMA, and Program Director for Medical Assisting, presented pins to the graduates. The student speakers were Allison O'Hearn and Ezgi Akyar.
Spring and summer 2026 graduates included Ezgi Akyar, Brittany Boose, Cierra Farrington, Alayna Macanespie, Allison O'Hearn, Azja Parker, Cecilia Plantholt, Elizabeth Pugh, Jah'leya Ray, Ashley Sauer-Flinchem, Shyann Stolo, and Leila Williams.
