Vehicle Sparks House Fire In Joppa

JOPPA, MD — A vehicle caught on fire near the garage of a Joppa home Saturday night.

The incident happened at a home located in the 1000 block of Beall Drive. Firefighters arrived within four minutes of being dispatched and they found a vehicle on fire with flames that had spread to the attached garage and second floor of the home.

Firefighters brought the blaze under control and prevented it from spreading further into the home, according to the Joppa Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company. No injuries were reported.

One adult has been displaced and is being helped by the Harford County Disaster Assistance.
