BELCAMP, MD — A developer wants to build 63 apartments on nearly 12 acres near Riverside Parkway and Brass Mill Road in Harford County. The proposed residential development will be reviewed by county officials Wednesday at a public meeting.
The project, known as Perkins Place 1 & 2, would be located at the northwest corner of Riverside Parkway (Route 543) and Brass Mill Road, county documents show.
According to plans submitted to Harford County by the developer, the proposal calls for consolidating two lots totaling approximately 11.85 acres to accommodate the apartment development. The property is zoned R4, a residential zoning classification, and is located in Harford County Council District F.
The preliminary plans show 55 one-bedroom apartments and eight two-bedroom apartments, along with parking areas, internal roads and landscaped areas.
According to the Harford County Development Advisory Committee agenda, the proposal will be reviewed Wednesday at 9 a.m. in the first-floor conference room at 220 S. Main St. in Bel Air. The meetings are open to the public and residents attending can ask questions or offer comments about projects being considered.
Residents can review the proposed development plan and follow upcoming meetings and documents through the county's Development Advisory Committee agenda center.
