PARKVILLE, MD — The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration will temporarily close and detour the interchange exit ramp from westbound I-695 (Baltimore Beltway Outer Loop) to northbound MD 147 (Harford Road) in Parkville this weekend.

The closure and related detour will run from 8 p.m. Friday through 8 a.m. Sunday.
During the ramp closure, drivers traveling from the outer loop of I-695 to northbound MD 147 will be directed to go to MD 41 (Perring Parkway), through the MD 41 interchange to the inner loop of I-695 to northbound MD 147.
The ramp from the outer loop of I-695 to southbound MD 147 will remain open during the weekend.
There also will be a temporary single right lane closure on the outer loop of I-695 from US 1 (Belair Road) to MD 41 between 8 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Sunday
There will be a temporary double right lane closure on the outer loop of I-695 from US 1 to MD 41 between 8 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday.
The underground pipe installation is part of the I-695 Transportation Systems Management and Operations project stretching from I-70 to MD 43 (White Marsh Boulevard) in Baltimore County to enable eventual part-time shoulder use during peak drive times.
