Andy Riendeau Goodwin, 27, of Aberdeen

Andrew "Andy" Riendeau Goodwin, 27, of Aberdeen, passed away on Aug. 24, 2017. Born in Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri, he was the son of Timothy Riendeau and Elizabeth (Nagle) Goodwin.

He was a member of Abingdon Fire Company and the Maryland National Guard. He enjoyed being outdoors hiking, camping, fishing, clay shooting and joking around campfires. He also enjoyed rolling around on the floor with his niece and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Andy is survived by his brother, Matthew B. Goodwin (Dana) of Elkton; his sister, Jennifer M. Goodwin-Buchness (Drew) of Bel Air; nephews, Owen Riendeau Goodwin and Grant Philip Goodwin both of Elkton, Colton Mason Buchness and niece, Brynn Marie Buchness both of Bel Air; and grandparents, Richard H. and Doris Pauline Nagle of Stanley, VA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Abingdon Fire Company, 3306 Abingdon Road, Abingdon, MD 21009.

Visitation will be from 1-4 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2017, at McComas Funeral Home, Abingdon, 1317 Cokesbury Rd., Abingdon, MD 21009.

A memorial service is planned for 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 31, 2017, at McComas Funeral Home, 1317 Cokesbury Rd., Abingdon, MD 21009.

Burial is Darlington Cemetery, Shuresville Road, Darlington, MD 21034.
