Apartment Complex Shootout Leads To Search For Suspects: Aberdeen Police

Several buildings and vehicles in Aberdeen were damaged by gunfire Jan. 4, police say. They are searching for the suspects.

ABERDEEN, MD — Detectives are working to identify the suspects involved in a shootout that happened Thursday at a local apartment complex.

Aberdeen police officers were called to the apartment complex in the unit block of Pritchard Avenue for a report of gunshots being fired. They found multiple cars and buildings damaged by gunfire. Investigators believe multiple people were involved in the shootout, according to the police department.

All suspects took off before officers arrived and no injuries were reported, according to police. No motive has been identified for the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Shoffstall at 410-272-2121, press #8, and dial extension 162.
