Apartment Fire Reported in Abingdon
Several engines were dispatched to apartment fire Monday afternoon, the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company reported.

An apartment fire in Abingdon drew first responders Monday afternoon, according to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company.
At approximately 4:15 p.m. on Monday, the fire company reported its crew was at the scene of the blaze in the 3800 block of Memory Lane. There was fire inside an apartment, according to the report.
By 4:30 p.m., Joppa-Magnolia was reporting all visible fire had been extinguished and crews were checking for hot spots.
