APG Testing May Produce Flashes, Bangs
Weapons and boats are being evaluated at Aberdeen Proving Ground this week, officials say.

Those around Aberdeen Proving Ground may hear weapons firing and see flashes of light as military personnel conduct testing exercises.
The proving ground is testing equipment to ensure it is safe and durable before it is sent out to soldiers in the field.
The testing will be ongoing until Thursday, June 11, and may take place day or night, according to a statement from Aberdeen Proving Ground.

Residents and boaters in the surrounding areas are advised that they may see flashes or hear weapons firing during the testing period, which started Monday, June 8.
