APG Testing Planned This Week: Flashes, Firing Possible
Daytime and nighttime testing may be heard in the community around Aberdeen Proving Ground.
ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND, MD — Daytime and nighttime testing at Aberdeen Proving Ground may be noticeable to the surrounding community this week, according to officials.
Weapons may fire, and flashes of light are possible. Noise may be heard off the installation.
"These operations are not hazardous to residents in our surrounding communities and are integral to ensuring continued readiness of service members," according to a statement from Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG).

Testing is slated for 7 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. from Aug. 24 to Aug. 27.
