APGFCU Hires Scott Weaver as SVP of Mortgage Lending

APG Federal Credit Union has hired Scott Weaver as senior vice president of mortgage lending. While the credit union was originally chartered to serve Aberdeen Proving Ground, the charter was expanded in 2003 when APGFCU became a community credit union serving everyone in Harford and Cecil counties.

“We’re pleased to welcome Scott to APGFCU. He brings extensive knowledge to our lending division and will be instrumental in building our loan portfolio moving forward. It is our goal to further the credit union movement and extend its principles to serve all those in Harford and Cecil counties,” said Don W. Lewis, president/CEO of APGFCU.

“I am excited to join the credit union movement and more specifically, APGFCU. I am looking forward to building on the success of the mortgage division by developing a robust lending program to further serve our members,” said Weaver.
