Darlington Apple Festival, Pumpkin Fest, Think Pink Fundraiser, Concert: Things To Do

This weekend, make plans to attend the Darlington Apple Festival, Pumpkin Fest, Think Pink fundraiser and a concert at The Cultural Center.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Tickets are still available to catch Black Root Underground, a band from Baltimore that fuses hip hop, funk, jazz, blues, reggae and spoken word. The band will perform Sept. 30 at 8 p.m. at The Cultural Center at the Opera House.

As fall gets underway, the Darlington Apple Festival will be Oct. 1 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The crafts festival features all things apple including entertainment, artwork, a country market, refreshments and more.

Pumpkin Fest runs now through Oct. 30 every weekend from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. with pumpkin-infused adult beverages, food trucks, live music, pumpkin picking and pumpkin painting.

On Oct. 2 will be the Think Pink Event at Festival Park in Aberdeen. There will be a bike rally and cornhole tournament to benefit the Kaufman Cancer Center, along with all-you-can-eat crabs, fried chicken, watermelon, corn on the cob, pit turkey, coleslaw, baked beans, desserts and beverages. There will be an escorted motorcycle ride from Eisenhauer Harley Davidson to Festival Park.
