Applications Accepted Now For 33rd Annual Bel Air Christmas Parade, Apply Online

BEL AIR, MD — Anyone interested in appearing in the 33rd Annual Bel Air Christmas Parade can submit an application online now through Nov. 22.

The Town of Bel Air, the Bel Air Downtown Alliance and Parade Chairman Michael Blum has set Dec. 3 as the date for the 33rd Annual Bel Air Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting Celebration, which will be held at 3:30 p.m.

All parade participants must be costumed or dressed in a holiday or seasonal theme, including animals, which should be decorated or “accessorized” if possible. Floats must also be decorated in a holiday them, according to event organizers.

Below is a tentative schedule of events:

• 3:30 pm: Parade (down Main Street to the end of Lee Street)
• 4:15 pm: Holiday music in Shamrock Park, with a bonfire, hot chocolate and food vendors
• 5 pm: Tree lighting
• Scheduled to appear: Bands, floats, performers, costumed characters, costumed scout troops, animals and more, heralding the official entrance of Santa and Mrs. Claus in Bel Air
