Armed Robber May Have Struck Twice in Bel Air: Harford Sheriff
Suspect robbed pizza delivery drivers, tried to steal watch, Harford County Sheriff's Office reports.
The Harford County Sheriff’s Office is investigating possible connections among three crimes that occurred at the end of last week in Bel Air and Edgewood,
- 1200 block of Athens Court in Bel Air; 11:45 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 11—A suspect wearing dark clothing approached a man, showed his gun and demanded the man’s watch. The suspect drove off in a dark-colored sedan without taking anything.
- 1100 block of Royston Place in Bel Air; 11:18 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 11—Two pizza delivery drivers making a delivery were robbed at gunpoint by a man who showed a gun and demanded money.
- 2000 block of Magnolia Woods Court in Edgewood; 10:54 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 11—A man and woman approached a pizza delivery driver from behind, pointed a gun at the driver and demanded money. The pair took an undisclosed amount of cash and ran into the woods behind the building.
There were no injuries as a result of the robberies, the sheriff’s office reported.
“Preliminary investigation leads detectives to believe that both the armed robbery and the attempted armed robbery in Bel Air are connected,” sheriff’s office spokeswoman Cristie Kahler said Monday.
