Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested, 2nd Man Remains On The Loose: Sheriff
A Baltimore man has been arrested in connection to an armed robbery in Edgewood. Authorities believe a 2nd suspect remains on the loose.
HARFORD COUNTY, MD — A 28-year-old Baltimore man has been charged in connection to the armed robbery that happened July 8 at Perez International Foods in Edgewood.
The incident happened around 8:10 p.m. According to the sheriff's office, two men walked into the store, displayed a gun then demanded money. They took off on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported.
Harford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division has charged Jose Mejia Henriquez in connection to the armed robbery at Perez International Foods. Henriquez was taken into custody without incident on July 10 and taken to the Harford County Detention Center where he is being held without bond.

After numerous interviews and review of video evidence, detectives believe at least one other suspect, yet to be identified, was involved. Anyone with information concerning the robbery or the whereabouts of the second suspect is asked to call Detective Jewell at 443-409-3498.
