Exhibit Showcases Harford Community College Art Gallery Coordinator's Personal Work

Now through Feb. 26, check out an art exhibit featuring pieces from the Chesapeake Gallery coordinator at Harford Community College.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — “Divergent Entities,” a solo exhibition of artworks by Brad Blair, the Chesapeake Gallery coordinator at Harford Community College, will be on display now through Feb. 26 at the Delaplaine Arts Center, 40 S. Carroll St. in Frederick.

This is Blair’s first solo exhibition since before the pandemic and it will also be his largest
exhibition to date. There will be 60 ceramic/mixed media works on display with more than 25
that have never been shown before.

“Along with the continuation of creature forms, many of these new sculptures have references to the fungi kingdom, a source of inspiration that has exploded for me over the past few years. The diversity of their shapes and colors, paired with their illusiveness and mysteriousness, have inspired me to incorporate them into my artwork. Hundreds of hours have gone into the making of ‘Divergent Entities’ and I cannot wait to share it with the world," Blair said.
