Attempted Murder Charge Waged Against Edgewood Man
Shots were fired in a Belcamp neighborhood over the weekend, reportedly leading to the arrest of a Harford County man now held without bail.

BELCAMP, MD —An Edgewood man is facing 10 charges, including attempted murder and first-degree assault, in connection with an incident that occurred over the weekend. He was taken into custody on Saturday, Jan. 19, according to court records.
The Harford County Sheriff's Office received a report of shots fired on Bristol Forest Drive at 8:15 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 18.
Shots were heard, then a vehicle sped off in the area, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office call logs.

Antone Russell Green, 20, of the 100 block of Broadneck Crossing Road, is charged with the following, court records show:
- Three counts of attempted first-degree murder
- Three counts of first-degree assault
- Three counts of reckless endangerment from a car
- Using a firearm in a felony crime
According to The Aegis, the shooting stemmed from the theft of marijuana from Green. A woman who regularly bought drugs from Green had stolen a half-pound of marijuana from him; and when she met to return part of it and pay him $500 for the rest, shots reportedly erupted.

An associate of Green shot at the woman and her entourage, breaking the back window of their vehicle, according to The Aegis. One bullet landed in the headrest of the front passenger seat, as the woman sitting there had ducked, the newspaper reported, citing charging documents.
At his bail review hearing on Tuesday, Jan. 22, Green's father described him as a "good kid" who was "with the wrong people," according to The Aegis, which said he graduated from Edgewood in 2016, attended Harford Community College, taught at the YMCA and was active in his church.
Green is being held without bail.
A preliminary hearing in the case is slated for Thursday, Feb. 14, according to court records.
