Back To School Bash For Harford Co. Students At Ripken Stadium

ABERDEEN, MD — Families of Harford County Public Schools students are invited to the Back to School Bash Aug. 24 at IBEW Local 24 Union Field at Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen.

Students and families can meet HCPS Superintendent Dr. Dyann Mack at the Back to School Bash. There will be free back-to-school giveaways all night and the chance to play catch in the outfield from 6 to 6:25 p.m. for kids who bring their own ball and glove.

First pitch for the Aberdeen IronBirds vs. Williamsport Crosscutters game will be at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $10 (a per ticket processing fee applies) and can be purchased by clicking here.

Individual schools will set their own specific open houses or back-to-school nights at their buildings before school starts for students.

The first day of class for first through 12th grade Harford County Public Schools students will be Aug. 31.

Kindergartners start with half a day of class on Sept. 1 and Sept. 2, followed by a full day of class Sept. 3.

Pre-kindergarteners start with half a day of class Sept. 8 and Sept. 9, followed by a full day of class Sept. 10.
