Back To School: Harford County Public Schools 2021-22 Calendar

BEL AIR, MD — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Bel Air, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in Harford County Public Schools.

The first day of school for most students in Harford County Public Schools is Sept. 8.

Masks are required on school buses, according to a federal order.

Starting Monday, Aug. 16, masks will be required in all school buildings as well, according to a statement from Harford County Public Schools (HCPS).

Here is the list of dates to know for this school year in Harford County Public Schools:

First Day: Wednesday, Sept. 8

Thanksgiving Break: Thursday, Nov. 25, and Friday, Nov. 26

Winter Break: Friday, Dec. 24, to Sunday, Jan. 2

Spring Break: Friday, April 15, to Monday, April 18

• Students may be off from early dismissal April 13 through April 19.
  • Schools will dismiss three hours early on Wednesday, April 13.
  • Classes are canceled for Professional Development Day Thursday, April 14.
  • Classes are canceled for Professional Development Day on Tuesday, April 19.

Last Day: June 10
