Bank of America Charitable Foundation Contributes the Final $12,000 towards The Head Family’s Home

Habitat for Humanity Susquehanna recognized Bank of America for a $12,000 contribution that completed the construction of a home for the Head family, who has been living in a hotel after an electrical fire burned their apartment.

The contribution bridged a financial shortfall allowing the construction to proceed. Thanks to Bank of America and other generous contributors, the home was dedicated to Putasha Head and her four teenage children on Nov. 8. Habitat for Humanity Susquehanna raised $36,000 to complete the Head family home.

“We can’t thank Bank of America and the community enough for coming together and supporting this urgent cause. We have moved Putasha and her children into their forever home, just in time for the holidays,” said Executive Director at Habitat for Humanity Susquehanna, Karen Blandford.
