​Barbara 'Bobbie' Lynne Buchanan, 68, Of Bel Air

Barbara "Bobbie" Lynne Buchanan, 68, of Bel Air, passed away on Aug. 25, 2018, at her home. Born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of William Jones and Florence (Valenta) LaPish.

She was a registered nurse and worked at Harford Memorial Hospital for 27 years and Good Samaritan Hospital for 12 years, where she retired in 2015.

Mrs. Buchanan is survived by her husband of 31 years, Robert E. Buchanan; two daughters, Cheri Anne Russo of Bel Air and Cristy Lynne Kessler (Elizabeth) of Florida and Hawaii; stepson Michael Robert Buchanan (Pauline) of Roy, Utah; three grandchildren, Casey Michael Buchanan, Lauren Nicole Russo and Jordis Rylee Buchanan; and five step siblings. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Willard "Butch" Jones, and her stepfather, Roy LaPish.
