Bel Air to Add 4 Wayfinders for Visitors
The town of Bel Air in in the process of working to install informative kiosks around town.

BEL AIR, MD — Visitors to Bel Air will be able to get a sense of where to locate everything from parking lots to activities, thanks to new devices in the works.
A series of "wayfinding" stations will be put in three parks — probably Shamrock, Plumtree and Rockfield — and near the Main Street parking lot downtown.
Commissioners approved an $18,000 contract at their Oct. 3 meeting for New York company Printing Lab to work on the project.

The anticipated installation date is spring 2017, according to the town of Bel Air.
The kiosk on Main Street will be three-sided and the stations in the parks will have two sides, the town said in a statement.

Behind the wayfinding stations is a desire to have people understand Bel Air as an experiential place including dining and shopping, not just government offices, The Aegis reported.
