Bel Air Applebee's to Host Hartford County Public School's Best Buddies program

The Bel Air Applebee's will host members of the Hartford County Public School's Best Buddies program for a flapjack fundraiser on May 16. Through the Best Buddies program, special need students from the school district are paired with peer buddies to help them gain the long-term benefits of normal social interaction and integration within their peer networks. Applebee's will host members of the Best Buddies program prior to the fundraiser for a field trip in which the students will learn about the restaurant industry and the jobs they will be performing during the fundraiser. Applebee's guests and neighbors are invited to attend the flapjack fundraiser on May 16 at 8 a.m. in support of the Best Buddies Program.
