Bel Air BB&T Bank Robber Is At Large: Police

If you have information about Tuesday morning's heist, the Harford County Sheriff's Office wants to hear from you.

BEL AIR, MD — The Harford County Sheriff's Office is asking for tips from the public to help track down the man who held up a BB&T bank on Tuesday morning. Sheriff's deputies responded at 10:38 a.m. to the report of a robbery at the bank, at 2101 Laurel Bush Road, according to a police report.

Upon arrival, they were told that an unidentified black man had entered the bank, handed a teller a note implying that he had a weapon, and demanded money. He then fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash, the sheriff's office said.

The man is described by the sheriff's office as African American, and 35 to 40 years of age. He's 5 feet 7 inches tall to 5 feet 8 inches tall, with an average build and a mustache.
