Bel Air Bypass Closed for Field Fire, Officials Say
Harford emergency officials advised drivers to avoid the Bel Air bypass near MD 24.

BEL AIR, MD — Part of the Bel Air bypass is closed due to a field fire Sunday afternoon, according to emergency personnel.
At approximately 3:15 p.m., firefighters were battling a field fire on the bypass in the area of MD 24, according to Rich Gardiner, spokesman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.
The northbound part of the bypass was closed at Route 24, and drivers were advised to avoid the area.
