Bel Air Chick-fil-A Is Now Open
The Chick-fil-A on Baltimore Pike opened after much fanfare, including an overnight camp-out in the parking lot.
BEL AIR, MD — The Bel Air Chick-fil-A opened its doors to the public on Wednesday, May 8. Overnight, there were 100 people camped out waiting to score free food for a year.
It's a Chick-fil-A tradition to host a "First 100" party the night before opening.
Officials said that the first 100 participants had lined up by 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, and they walked away on Wednesday morning with free food for a year. Their prizes consisted of gift cards pre-loaded with 52 meals of a chicken sandwich, medium waffle fries and medium beverage.

Operator Randy Eastep awarded prizes at around 5:45 a.m. on Wednesday.

Eastep also launched the Forest Hill Chick-fil-A on Rock Spring Road, which opened in July 2012.
Harford County Executive Barry Glassman and the town of Bel Air issued proclamations to celebrate the opening of the business.
The Bel Air Chick-fil-A is at 408 Baltimore Pike. Hours are 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday to Saturday.
