Bel Air Christmas Parade 2018: Watch Live Coverage
The town of Bel Air rang in the holidays with its annual parade on Sunday, Dec. 2.

BEL AIR, MD — The 29th annual Bel Air Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting went off without a hitch. Marching bands, scouts, dogs, sheep, baton twirlers and more paraded down Main Street, spreading cheer around Bel Air and beyond on Sunday, Dec. 2.
Bel Air Patch captured the action in front of the judging booth near the courthouse.

Previous Report: Main Street will be closed at 2 p.m. from Churchville Road to Lee Street so that the stream of marching bands, costumed characters, festive parade participants and floats can make their way down the route along Main Street from Churchville Road to Lee Way to Shamrock Park.
The parade starts at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 2. It begins around Main Street outside Black Eyed Suzie's, near Churchville Road/MD 22. Beforehand, there will be a concert outside the courthouse.

Here is the schedule for the 2018 parade:
- 2 p.m.: Staging begins on Main Street at Churchville Road; Main Street closes
- 2:30 p.m.: Concert on Main Street in front of the courthouse
- 3:30 p.m.: Parade from Main Street at MD 22 down Main, right on Lee Street
- 4 p.m.: Holiday music in Shamrock Park, with bonfire plus free cookies and hot chocolate
- 4:45 p.m.: Bel Air town tree lighting
