Bel Air Family Wins $10,018 Playing Keno

A store on Baltimore Pike sold the winning ticket, Maryland Lottery officials say.

BEL AIR, MD - A Bel Air family playing Keno recently won more than $10,000, Maryland Lottery officials reported.

A woman and her husband were eating at the Snack House in the 600 block of Baltimore Pike when something unusual happened.

Since there was no Keno screen at the Snack House, the woman was playing the numbers game on her phone.

“I normally play family birthdays, but my mom suggested I add some 7s to the play card,” the 36-year-old woman told lottery officials.

“I added 7, 17 and 77, and those numbers with the birthdays came out on the third game,” she said.
