Bel Air Farmers Markets Opening Soon

Get details on the Bel Air Farmers' Market and Bel Air's Marketplace on Main.

The Bel Air Farmers' Market will open for the season on Saturday, April 12.

Located in the parking lot on South Bond at Thomas streets in Bel Air, the farmers market will take place Saturdays from 7 to 11 a.m. through November.

The Bel Air Farmers’ Market—run by an independent board of directors—is a producer-only market, meaning vendors must grow, make or produce their products. See a list of the 2014 vendors here. Products range from quail eggs to oyster mushrooms to beeswax candles to dog treats to blueberry bushes.

Bel Air's Marketplace on Main, which is run by the Bel Air Downtown Alliance, has changed its day, time and location this year. It was previously held on Wednesdays in the evening. Now it will be on the third Sunday of the month from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., from May 18 to Oct. 19.

The Marketplace on Main will be on Office Street and feature local growers and producers, as well as local artisans, crafters and entertainment.
