Bel Air Festival For The Arts Draws Crowds To Shamrock Park
Various forms of artistry were on display at the Bel Air Festival for the Arts.

BEL AIR, MD — The sun was shining for the 53rd annual Bel Air Festival for the Arts. Each year the festival is held the third Sunday in September in Shamrock Park, and though it was a rain-or-shine event, it was unclear if the weather would cooperate, especially when early forecasts suggested a hurricane could be afoot.
As it turned out, Bel Air basked in hours of sunshine Sunday, and Shamrock Park was filled with crowds to take in the entertainment, artistry and festival food. Organizers said there were 350 artists and craftspeople displaying and selling their items.
The event was a collaborative effort, with the town of Bel Air's public works personnel keeping Shamrock Park looking its best for the occasion and officials from the Bel Air Police Department and Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company looking out for public safety.
