Paint the Town at Bel Air Festival for the Arts

Admission to Sunday's festival in Shamrock Park is free.

The entertainment schedule for the 49th annual Bel Air Festival for the Arts is here, courtesy of the Bel Air Recreation Committee. The event is a rain-or-shine affair celebrating local artists with performances, exhibitions, vendors and cuisine.

Located in Shamrock Park, the festival runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 21.

  • 9 a.m.—Harford Ballet performs on the bandshell stage
  • 10 a.m.—Silver Eagle Cloggers
  • 10:45 a.m.—Chuck Baker Orchestra
  • 11:40 a.m.—Sounding Brass
  • 12:35 p.m.—Ryan-Kilcoyne Irish Dance
  • 1:30 p.m.—Big Bertha’s Rhythm Kings sing
  • 2:45 p.m.—Upper Chesapeake Chorus
  • 3:25 p.m.—Members of Applause
  • 4 p.m.—Bel Air Community Band

In addition, the festival features 350 exhibitors showcasing fine art, photography and juried craftwork, according to a statement from the Bel Air Festival for the Arts.

Food will be available, with proceeds benefitting Bel Air Parks and Recreation programs, the statement said.

The Bel Air Festival for the Arts will be held at Shamrock Park (Lee Way at Hickory Avenue) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sept. 21. There will be free shuttle bus service from the MVA building off MD Route 24 to Shamrock Park, available between 9:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
